Tooolbox

Tooolbox is my hand-picked directory of 662+ tools for web design and development, with three ways to browse them, an AI that drafts every new entry, and the blog where I think out loud. It runs on Next.js and Sanity and installs like an app.

A toolbox, not a link dump

Every designer and developer keeps a list of tools they swear by. Mine outgrew my bookmarks, so I turned it into a product: each tool hand-picked, described in a sentence, sorted into a category, and easy to find again the day you need it.

The marquee view: the tools drift by like a shelf you browse.

Three ways to wander

The dock switches between a marquee that drifts like a shelf, a field of bubbles you can push around, and a dense list by category for when you know what you want. A tool of the day, a random pick and instant search keep it fresh.

The bubbles view: every tool as a bubble you can push around.

AI drafts, a person curates

Anyone can suggest a tool. An n8n workflow visits the site, reads what it does and drafts the name, description and category; the suggestion lands with me for review, and the person who sent it gets an email once it’s live. It keeps the quality of a curated list without the copy-paste.

Every tool has its own page, ready to share.

The blog where I think out loud

Tooolbox is also where I write about AI, design, development and the business of building for the web, in English and French, edited in the same Sanity Studio as this site.
